The Legend of the ChickenLady

For the past few years I've had a very, well no paying part-time job. The Director of Vacation Bible School title is only given to those who are crazy enough to do it. All kidding aside, the pay was worth every ounce of work. You see VBS directors are paid in hugs, smiles & giggles. Who could pass up this kind of job?


Everyone has been asking where the name "ChickenLady" came from. One year VBS was a farm theme and I have been known to get a little silly at times. And VBS brings out my extreme silliness. I consulted my favorite catalog, Oriental Trading Company and ordered one chicken hat and the legend was born.
